NEW BOOK “Borderless Behavior Analytics – Who’s inside? What’re They Doing?”

Yes, we’ve just released a new book by our CEO, Saryu Nayyar, “Borderless Behavior Analytics – Who’s Inside? What’re They Doing?”.

We’ve drawn from the knowledge of thought leaders from a range of different industries providing their insights on how identity is core to access risks and modern threats for environments fragmenting into a borderless state. Contributors to the book include chapters by the following CSO/CISO/CIO luminaries:

● Jerry Archer, CISO, Major Financial Services Company

● Gary Eppinger, CISO, Carnival Corporation

● Gary Harbison, CISO, Monsanto

● Leslie K. Lambert, former CISO Juniper Networks, Sun Microsystems

● Robert D. Rodriguez, Chairman/Founder, SINET

● Joe Sullivan, CSO, Uber

● Teri Takai, former CIO DoD, State of CA, Ford Motor Company

We also have a www.borderlessbehavioranalytics.com website with information about the contributors, and a short QUIZ you can take on borderless behavior analytics, so test your knowledge to protect your future.

Stop by, we’re having a book signing on Monday evening, from 5 PM – 6 PM with CEO Saryu Nayyar.  We’ll have limited complimentary first edition copies at the booth available during the conference. On Tuesday, key contributors to the book will be signing copies from 12 PM – 4 PM.

Learn about Gurucul Risk Analytics, User & Entity Behavior Analytics and Identity Analytics

Our Gurucul Risk Analytics (GRA) platform monitors user behavior to identify anomalous behaviors across users, accounts, applications, and devices. It does this through User Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) and Identity Analytics (IdA), machine learning, and peer group modeling.  Our platform addresses a behavior-based threat and identity access risk plane, to predict, detect and protect resources.  We provide a new defense for a new perimeter.

At the booth, see a demonstration and/or sit down for a presentation. We’ll be giving a talk in our booth theatre several times daily.  If you’re interested in attending the expo only for RSA 2017, here is a complimentary expo pass code you can use – XE7GRUCUL. You have to register in advance to use this pass.

What a name!

What a name!

GURUCUL (goo-roo-cool)

The name Gurucul comes from Sanskrit (गुरुकुल). This word is a contraction of the Sanskrit word ‘guru’ which means teacher or expert and ‘cul’ means extended family or group. In ancient times this was the place of learning. As a security analytics company expertise and learning hold a very special meaning as it reflects in our name.
