Gurucul at Black Hat 2014
The Gurucul Team had an outstanding week at the 2014 Black Hat conference! The expo hall was buzzing with attendees, our booth engaged in several meetings and demos, and the Gurucul Team hosted VIPs and expo attendees at our inaugural party at 1923 Bourbon and Burlesque. We started the week with an outstanding Executive Advisory Board (EAB) Meeting followed by a VIP Dinner at Charlie Palmer Steakhouse. A great time was had by all and we sincerely appreciate that so many of you were able to attend that event.
During the Black Hat conference, we met with several hundred people at our exhibit booth and hosted over 175 people at our knock-out party at 1923 Bourbon & Burlesque! Not to be outdone, our Co-Founders, Saryu Nayyar and Nilesh Dherange, gave a killer presentation at the ISE Lion’s Den session and were rewarded with fantastic positive feedback and encouragement by the esteemed panel of “Lions” which included EAB Member, Renee Guttman.
On day two of Black Hat, we hosted a sponsored session, “Security Risk Intelligence: A Revolution in Protecting Against Insider Threats”, moderated by Leslie K. Lambert with EAB panelists Teri Takai, Gary Harbison and Joshua Davis. The session was presented to a packed room with an audience that was highly engaged in the panel conversation. All that attended were treated to insights and thought leadership unparalleled by other sessions.
The week in Las Vegas was a whirlwind, but once the dust settled we came out with new relationships, impactful conversations and a great conference.
Whew! What a GREAT week, until next year at Black Hat!
