Director of Growth Marketing

The Director of Growth Marketing will report directly to the Head of Marketing and play a pivotal role in driving Gurucul’s marketing strategy across Marketing Operations, Demand Generation, Paid Media Management, Creative Production, Social Media, and Website Management. This role is critical in aligning marketing efforts with sales teams, including BDRs, Sales Ops, direct reps, and channel partners. As a player/manager, you will inherit a team of three with the ability to scale the team over time while taking ownership of a solid foundation to grow and innovate further with an entrepreneurial mindset.

You’ll collaborate with industry leaders to drive measurable growth in a fast-paced environment while building out your team and scaling impactful programs from the ground up. With support from a dedicated Marketing Operations Manager and a strong foundation already established, this is your chance to make your mark on Gurucul’s next phase of growth!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demand Generation: Lead targeted campaigns to drive pipeline growth through account-based marketing (ABM), digital channels, events, and organic strategies
- Marketing Operations: Collaborate with a dedicated Marketing Operations Manager to optimize martech tools, data analytics, workflows, and reporting processes that enable scalable marketing programs
- Paid Media Management: Develop and oversee paid media strategies across search, display, social advertising, and other digital channels to maximize ROI and drive high-quality leads. (Supported by agency partner)
- Creative Production: Oversee the creation of compelling assets (content, graphics, videos) aligned with Gurucul’s brand positioning
- Website Management: Ensure Gurucul’s website functions as the #1 selling tool by optimizing user experience, conversion rates, and content strategy
- SEO for Organic Growth: Develop and implement advanced SEO strategies to enhance visibility and drive organic demand generation. (Supported by agency partner)
- Social Media Strategy: Oversee Gurucul’s social media presence to strengthen brand awareness, engage audiences, and support demand generation efforts across key platforms
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with BDRs, Sales Ops, direct reps, and channel teams to align marketing initiatives with sales goals
- Team Leadership & Scaling: Manage a high-performing team of three while demonstrating the ability to grow and scale the team over time as business needs expand
- Performance Metrics: Track KPIs such as pipeline contribution, lead quality, organic traffic growth, paid media performance metrics (CTR/CPL/ROI), social engagement metrics, and overall campaign effectiveness to refine strategies continuously
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in growth marketing within B2B SaaS or cybersecurity industries
- Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS selling cycles and cybersecurity markets
- Expertise in martech tools (CRM platforms, automation software) and data-driven decision-making; familiarity with working alongside dedicated Marketing Operations support is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage creative production and optimize website performance for sales enablement
- Knowledge of advanced SEO and emerging GEO techniques tailored for B2B SaaS companies
- Experience developing impactful social media strategies that align with broader marketing goals
- Hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns across multiple digital channels with proven results in lead generation and ROI optimization
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of scaling marketing functions effectively and growing teams over time
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $160,000 – $200,000 / year
