IT Analyst (Pune)
Gurucul is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Analyst with 3+ years of experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing general IT support, managing access requests, overseeing IT asset management, supporting endpoint devices, assisting with network management, and contributing to the organization’s overall security posture.
RESPONSIBILITIES
IT Support & Service Management:
- Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and technical issues across the organization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain and update IT documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the IT organization
Access Management:
- Process and manage user access requests (account provisioning, de-provisioning, and changes) following security and compliance guidelines.
- Assist with periodic access reviews and audits.
Asset Management:
- Track, maintain, and manage the IT asset inventory including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Ensure accurate recording of asset lifecycle (procurement, deployment, maintenance, decommissioning).
Endpoint Management:
- Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint devices (Windows, macOS, mobile) using endpoint management tools.
- Apply software updates, patches, and ensure device compliance with company security policies.
Network Support:
- Provide basic network troubleshooting for wired and wireless connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with the network team to support VPN, firewalls, and other network infrastructure components.
Security & Compliance:
- Support the implementation and monitoring of IT security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Assist in vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and incident response activities.
- Participate in security awareness initiatives and compliance audits (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on IT support and systems management experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems, Office 365, Active Directory, and common enterprise applications.
- Experience with IT asset management, endpoint management tools (CrowdStrike, Proofpoint), and basic networking (Cisco).
- Familiarity with IT security principles, identity and access management, and security tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Effective writing skills for different audiences (technical – procedures, customer / user – support tickets, training, etc. . )
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
