The Technical Account Manager is responsible for developing and expanding customer relationships with the company’s most strategic accounts, to promote successful adoption, retention, and loyalty leading to a successful renewal and a world class white glove customer experience.  The ideal candidate can build strong relationships with influencers and decision makers, understands customer challenges and expectations from SOC / Security teams, in-depth understanding of cyber security data sets, use cases and technologies, account and project management skills, and the tenacity and proactiveness to drive value and desired outcomes for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted cyber security advisor and provide thought leadership to clients in cybersecurity NextGen SIEM, UEBA, Insider Threat, XDR space
  • Manage assigned customer portfolio and build strong relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels from CXO to the analysts / engineers awe well as strategic partners in the account
  • Quarterback customers through the full customer life cycle, from startup through steady state (on-going operational use)
  • Collaborate with Gurucul sales, PS team, support, product and leadership team to ensure successful deployment and operationalization of Gurucul platform in customer environment
  • Understanding of customer specific deployment in terms of architecture, key data sources and use cases, operational KPIs.
  • Understand client’s security posture including understanding of the security strategy, initiatives, gaps, team, technology and processes to define, recommend and execute the implementation roadmap using Gurucul platform 
  • Stay abreast of current business and cyber security trends relevant to the client’s business 
  • Provide consultation to drive maximum value of customer’s investment, including “stickiness” and full utilization of the product, and collaborating with sales teams to ensure growth attainment and increased footprint
  • Provide guidance on use case implementation based on client’s security posture and priorities
  • Closely review, monitor and report periodic (weekly / monthly / quarterly) account / program health and value delivery across multiple customers 
  • Manage all actions related to customer feature requests
  • Have quarterly service reviews for more in-depth check-in for product health and successful detection, investigation and proactive hunting capabilities
  • Meet onsite in-person for at least 1 quarterly service review to drive our client relationship and partnership with our clients use of Gurucul products and services
  • Responsible for overall customer success with Gurucul products and services including renewal and expansion

Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of TAM experience
  • At least 3 years in a Cyber Security related role
  • Understanding of and/or implementation experience with a variety of security tools (SIEM, UEBA, XDR, EDR etc.)
  • OS command line, scripting skills, RegEx, Grok patterns are a plus
  • Solid customer facing personality
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Travel – up to 25% for on-site customer visits

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • $90,000 – $130,000
