Role Summary

Gurucul is seeking a Senior Content Marketing Manager who can architect high-impact content  ecosystems, drive editorial excellence, and lead multi-format storytelling that resonates with CISOs,  analysts, partners, and enterprise SOC teams.

This role demands a seasoned storyteller who blends editorial craftsmanship with strategic GTM  thinking. You will define content pillars, own cross-channel narratives, orchestrate content for field &  partner motions, and elevate Gurucul’s presence across SEO, AEO, GEO, ABM, and analyst cycles. You’ll influence Gurucul’s narrative across global regions while executing in the fast-paced, detail heavy environment of cybersecurity marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy Leadership

  • Define the content strategy — messaging pillars, themes, seasonal narratives, and quarterly  priorities.
  • Build story frameworks for AI-Native SOC, Next-Gen SIEM, UEBA, SOAR, ITDR, and Cloud  Security.
  • Align content strategy with product launches, analyst cycles (Gartner), regional opportunities,  and demand-gen priorities.

Editorial Excellence & Thought Leadership

  • Write, edit, and create deeply-researched content:
    • POVs, executive bylines, and long-form essays
    • Whitepapers, benchmark reports
    • Industry trend narratives and CISO-focused insights
  • Partner with leadership to craft their digital voice for LinkedIn and global platforms.

ABM, Field & Partner GTM Integration

  • Build high-intent content for target accounts, verticals, and Tier-1 opportunities.
  • Craft narratives and assets for:
    • Different verticals
    • Partner co-marketing programs
    • Field events (AISS, Black Hat MEA, GITEX, RSA, regional summits)
  • Build conversion-focused messaging for pre-event and post-event cycles.

Advanced SEO, AEO & GEO Leadership

  • Own content programs aligned to SEO, ZCO, AEO, and GEO performance goals • Build structured content for:
    • Featured snippets
    • “People Also Ask”
    • AI search engine optimization
    • Knowledge graph and entity-based ranking
  • Identify content gaps using analytics and competitor intelligence.

Paid Media Copywriting & Campaign Support

  • Develop high-conversion ad copy for Google Search, Google Display, and LinkedIn Sponsored  Content, ensuring alignment with product narratives, buyer intent, and regional GTM goals.
  • Craft variations of headlines, descriptions, CTAs, and value propositions for A/B testing and  intent-driven targeting.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing to optimize ad messaging using performance insights — CTR,  CPC, relevance scores, impression share, and conversion behavior.
  • Write persona-specific ad sequences tailored for CISOs, SOC leaders, security architects, and  partner audiences.
  • Adapt content themes for retargeting, event promotion, ABM campaigns, and thought leadership amplification.
  • Ensure ad copy remains compliant with analyst messaging guidelines, brand tone, and  competitive positioning.

Multi-Format Content Production & Repurposing

  • Lead creation of multi-format assets with design and video teams:
    • Infographics, carousels, micro-videos, demos
    • “Explainer” short videos
    • Campaign assets for ABM and partner GTM
    • Event narratives, keynote scripts, executive decks
  • Ensure content works across platforms — social, website, events, partners, and campaigns.

Funnel Acceleration & Demand-Gen Content

  • Develop mid- and bottom-funnel content:
    • SDR and sales enablement assets
    • Comparison briefs
    • Objection-handling content
  • Build nurture streams that increase MQL → SQL → Opportunity progression.

Cross-Functional Influence & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, SDR, Digital, Social, and Partner teams to drive  unified messaging.
  • Prioritize content requests through structured frameworks and data-driven insight.
  • Present insights, content performance dashboards, and quarterly recommendations to  leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Cybersecurity, Journalism, or  related fields.
  • 7–12 years of experience in content marketing, editorial strategy, or product/content writing  in cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS.
  • Strong ability to write both strategic narratives (thought leadership) and tactical content  (whitepapers, briefs, guides).
  • Deep familiarity with SIEM, SOC workflows, UEBA, SOAR, ITDR, cloud architectures, and  threat analytics (or ability to learn fast).
  • Strong understanding of SEO, AEO, GEO, and content analytics workflows (Google Data  Studio, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMRush).
  • Proven experience supporting GTM motions across regions — ABM, partner content, field  events, and technical storytelling.

  • Strong stakeholder management, editorial judgement, and communication skills
