Role Summary

Gurucul is seeking an experienced and visionary Technical leader to lead our talented team of developers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, team leadership, and cloud-based SaaS product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 15-20 developers spread across 3-4 scrum teams, fostering a  collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Closely take care of the development and delivery of web based software product using  Java and Angular.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering, including Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
  • Drive architectural decisions based on strong technical knowledge.
  • Critically evaluate solutions to business problems brought forward by team / tech leads.
  • Guide team to build a scalable and robust software product.
  • Drive deployment and architectural decisions.
  • Collaborate with the product owner team to define product roadmaps and ensure timely  delivery of new features.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting continuous  learning and growth.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-based SaaS and on prem deployed  products.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation within the team.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in software development and team leadership.
  • Proven track record of leading teams of 15-20 developers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on expertise in Java, Angular, Big Data, and cloud-based SaaS product development.
  • Good understanding of architecture of software products.
  • Understanding of Spring Framework and Hibernate JPA.
  • Experience with Dev Ops, Application security.
  • Good understanding of NLP, AI,and ML spectrum.
  • In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
