The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and executing the full scope of human resources functions in alignment with organizational goals. This role oversees and enhances core HR programs including recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, record-keeping, onboarding/offboarding, compensation, immigration, performance management, organizational development, and management training. The Senior HR Manager acts as a strategic partner to leadership and a champion of company culture, ensuring an exceptional employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead and manage full-cycle recruiting for all departments, ensuring timely placement of top talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, sourcing strategies, and interview processes.
- Oversee onboarding programs to ensure a smooth and engaging new hire experience.
- Work with hiring managers on workforce planning and talent pipeline development.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, performance issues, conflict resolution, and employee concerns.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and compliant work environment.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and pulse surveys, and analyze feedback for action planning.
Benefits & Compensation
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, leave, and retirement plans.
- Collaborate with finance and leadership to develop and maintain competitive compensation structures.
- Manage annual benefits, open enrollment, and employee education on benefit offerings.
Compliance & Record Keeping
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEOC).
- Maintain accurate and secure employee records and HRIS data in accordance with privacy regulations.
- Lead audits and reporting related to compliance and internal controls.
Immigration & Global Mobility
- Manage employment-based immigration processes including visa applications, transfers, and renewals.
- Partner with legal counsel and agencies to ensure compliance with immigration laws and timelines.
Management & Leadership Development
- Develop and facilitate training programs for managers and supervisors on leadership, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders to enhance team effectiveness and employee development.
Offboarding & Transitions
- Oversee the offboarding process including exit interviews, knowledge transfer, and compliance-related documentation.
- Analyze turnover trends and recommend retention strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or senior generalist role
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, modern talent strategies and employment law
- Experience managing immigration cases and working with external counsel
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- $110,000+ / year, depending on experience
